If you are an agreed customer, or if you use our services, we collect personal information about you when you register to use tourism.today. If you send an inquiry to us, or meet us at conferences or business networking events and you request more information on our services, or if you participate in our services, we will ask for some of your personal information. Generally we only collect your name, email address and phone number where you would like us to reach you. We need this information from you in order to create an account, advise you with information about server updates, reach out to you should we have an urgent notice, to discuss your businesses’ inclusion in our services, and to discuss any items related to us providing a good and stable service to you. If we work with your business and you have been identified as the stakeholder dealing with matters we require in order to perform specific business functions, we may use your provided business contact details to reach you. If you feel this is irrelevant, we are able to update our records with the organisation’s preferred contact person. Payment information is not stored within our site, these details are passed to a payment gateway for secure processing. We do not share or distribute your information to third party vendors, except our payment gateway who processes billing.
You are able to access the details you have provided on your back office My Account area, excluding your payment details which are stored on the payment gateway.
Should you object to us storing your information, we will be limited in the service that we can provide to you. In these circumstances reach out to our team at info@tourism.today for us to follow the due process of deleting your details from our database, which will include a reply from us confirming our action taken. Please ensure that you have received a ticket number confirming your inquiry. We do aim to respond as timeously as possible.
Please note that even if we delete your information, it may still persist on back-ups, archive and / or other business critical information for tax reasons, or for legitimate and lawful business purposes.
